Paragon Gene Therapy, in Baltimore, Gaithersburg, Catonsville, & Harmans, Maryland, provides industry-leading GMP development and manufacturing services for cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant viral vectors, next generation vaccines & hard-to-express recombinant proteins and oncolytic viruses.

The Systems Administrator will grow their skills with a fast-growing Biotech company. They will be a part of a team reporting to the Sr. Manager of IT and will provide key IT support for various manufacturing, quality, and research systems. We expect you to have technical skills gained from experience of supporting business users, IT operations, using desktop & server operating systems. You must have excellent organization skills, can work under pressure and have enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Respond to helpdesk ticket requests as needed by our off-site Managed Service Provider (MSP)
• Act as liaison between Paragon and MSP
• Manage small projects
• Provide new users training
• Troubleshoot core business applications
• Basic knowledge of network protocols
• Ability to maintain technical documentation

Education & Experience:
• Associates degree in Computer Sciences or Business field and 3+ years of experience in a helpdesk environment (will consider less experience with a Bachelor level degree in the same fields of study)
• Must have a proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products, Windows 7 &/or 10, Networking and computer/hardware set up (laptops to peripherals and network)
