Market Access is a growing capability that is critical to AbbVie's ongoing success. Our Market Access Development Program helps develop high-potential talent for future Global Market Access and Pricing management positions at AbbVie. By rotating through a variety of roles across market access, the Market Access Development Program addresses the business needs of today while helping to grow experienced, well-rounded management talent for tomorrow. Over three years and three rotations, you may work in rotations in the following fields:
  • Market Access planning and execution
  • Health Economic and Health Technology Assessment
  • Strategic Pricing
  • Affiliate or Area market access and pricing


Some examples of projects have included:
  • Work in a global market access role in an affiliate to help support market access strategy development for brand and indication launches
  • Analyze value assessment and strategic pricing recommendations for an AbbVie molecule in development
  • Conduct Healthcare Technology Assessment trends across global health systems and identify opportunities and risks


Basic
  • Completion of an MBA, MA, MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD or relevant graduate degree in Economics, Epidemiology, Psychology, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine or related program. Must currently be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program.
  • Strong academic performance (Minimum cumulative GPA = 3.0/4.0)
  • Eligible to work in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, or the United States without requiring sponsorship
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Geographic mobility, interested in a global career


Preferred
  • Two years prior Healthcare industry experience and demonstrated understanding of health policy impact
  • Strong desire to learn market access and develop evidence to demonstrate the value of our pharmaceutical products to patients, payers, market access stakeholders, health systems and society
  • Personal initiative and ability to lead; Strong desire to take responsibility for projects and make an impact
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to navigate a matrix organization
  • Innovative and critical thinking; Ability to analyze data and prioritize to solve problems
  • Experience with project and budget management
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Global mindset
