Paragon Gene Therapy, in Baltimore & Harmans, Maryland, provides industry-leading GMP development and manufacturing services for cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant viral vectors, next generation vaccines & hard-to-express recombinant proteins and oncolytic viruses.

The Executive Financial Assistant will be a key member of the finance and administrative team, helping senior finance and administrative executives in the organization with items ranging from simple tasks to helping drive major projects. Essential to the success of the individual in this position is the ability to anticipate needs and drive results beyond the specific request.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Generating quality, presentation-ready finished product, including PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets from either earlier drafts or simply discussions with the executives
• Delivering general administrative support for finance, accounting and legal executives
• Providing support for Senior Administrative Manager
• Serving as back up to Administrative Coordinator/Receptionist
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Skills
• Professional and clear written and verbal skills; able to convey concise messaging utilizing multiple mediums
• Highly organized
• Advanced use of Excel (graphics, pivot tables, V-lookups, formula-building across tabs and sheets, etc.)
• Advanced use of PowerPoint (graphics, tables, inserted objects, transitions, animations, etc.)
• Advance use of Word (track changes, compare doc, inserting tables and graphics, etc.)
• Proficient with Outlook (calendar, administrative functions/options)
• Working knowledge and conversant in financial matters

Education & Experience:

• HS Diploma with a minimum 5 years of administrative experience generating documents associated to technical, financial data. AS or BS preferred.
• Experience with MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
• Reception experience
• Events Management experience
