Reporting to the Global Product Planning Lead within the Global Supply Chain Organization, the Supply Chain Senior Associate is responsible for delivering robust global supply plans, supply chain reporting, and maintaining master data integrity using Amgen's planning and execution systems.

The role collaborates with Global Network Planning, Global Supply Chain Leads, Regional Supply Chain, and Site Supply Chain to ensure supply plan alignment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring key product specific global supply chain metrics and proactively look for opportunities for improvement.
  • Performs pre-planning quality checks to ensure MRP integrity
  • Balances supply plans across several manufacturing stages/sites that support demand and maintain safety stock levels.
  • Controls supply transition plans across existing supply chain nodes based on guidance from GSCL, changes to supply, demand or regulatory assumptions
  • Reviews Supply Planning Quality Checks with GSCL to ensure supply plan integrity at Planning Cycle completion
  • Participates on Global Supply Chain Team
  • Manages global product planning business processes
  • Maintains/manages global master data within Amgen's planning system


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of demand and supply planning experience

OR

Associate Degree and 6 years of demand and supply planning experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of demand and supply planning experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in demand and supply planning, MRP, production planning and inventory control.
  • 2 plus years of experience in global pharmaceutical, biotech or similar industry
  • Detail oriented with strong business data analytical skills
  • Process oriented mindset with willingness to call out gaps and seek solutions
  • Able to communicate across a wide range of staff levels and develop effective relationships in a matrix organization
  • Able to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously under constrained timelines.
