Purpose of the Position:

The Continuous Improvement Lead position will assist the business by contributing towards identifying and improving business process efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvement techniques and data.

Be a "leader of change". This person must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization. They must be able to question the status quo and be a strong communicator.

Will be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring and coaching team members.

Apply Lean Manufacturing methodology in the implementation of operations excellence initiatives.

Manage a portfolio of lean projects directed at reducing waste and improving quality to provide greater value.

Implements such tools as: 5S, KPIs/metrics, SMED, VSM, Kaizen, SPC, Process Capability, Pareto analysis, and Fishbone analyses.

Train and lead cross-functional continuous improvement teams; focusing on measurable quality, service and cost improvements.

Trains, coaches and motivates personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques.

Drives the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices across multiple departments and facilities.

Monitors, analyzes, and reports on business metrics to identify trends and highlights areas for improvement based on data



Position Requirements:

BS Degree (Engineering, Industrial/Mechanical or Supply Chain preferred)

Strong LEAN Manufacturing or Business Process expertise: 5+ years demonstrated Kaizen or related Continuous Improvement implementation experience.

Proven track record in leading high-performance teams and attaining results; able to quantify results.

Proficient computer skill including M/S Office and Project Management.
