We are seeking a qualified, highly motivated, individuals with relevant experience for the position of Cellular Therapy Account Manager, Southern California. This Individual will report directly into the Regional Account Director, West. The Cellular Therapy Account Manager (CTAM) will be responsible for assessing, cultivating and managing professional relationships across broad stakeholder groups within targeted academic hospitals to ensure achievement of commercial objectives and the successful utilization of YESCARTA® for relapsed/refractory diffuse large B cell lymphoma.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Responsible for identifying and routinely meeting with appropriate stakeholders across academic institutions and additional identified accounts to educate on YESCARTA® and logistically support the utilization of YESCARTA®

The CTAM role will support utilization of YESCARTA® to include but not be limited to:

Primary point of contact to support all customer needs.

Manage resources to ensure appropriate patient identification

Manage internal customer facing partners to ensure the customer and patients have a positive experience with Kite and Yescarta.

Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for designated accounts and collaborate with Kite and Gilead Oncology team members to create a streamlined, organized interface between account stakeholders and field facing colleagues.

Navigate complex account environments and understand the needs/issues of various stakeholders at all levels within the account and find solutions to address these needs/issues.

Collaborate with Regional Account Director to develop and implement strategic account plans.

Collaborate and regularly communicate with Kite colleagues in Market Access, Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing, Customer Engagement and Kite Konnect™.

Collaborate and regularly communicate with Gilead Therapeutic Specialists and Regional Directors to ensure successful appropriate patients are referred into local authorized treatment centers.

Maintain and continuously develop both disease state (Non-Hogdkins Lymphoma) and product specific knowledge (Yescarta).

Actively gains customer insights and provide timely follow-up on commitments and requests.

Operate in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Kite activities.

Develop significant business relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs), senior account level leadership including the C-Suite, as well as all other decision makers and key stakeholders.

Provide support at professional meetings, including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and facilitating meetings with TLs

Facilitate and provide timely feedback to appropriate Kite management regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, industry issues and business opportunities

Cultivate relationships and actively participate in grassroots advocacy/engagement activities within territory to align with regional and national initiatives outlined by Director, Customer Engagement

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven track record of high performance

Frontline management (DM/ABM) level experience (Preferred)

Demonstrated ability and desire to provide unprecedented customer support across stakeholder groups

Possesses a long term, strategic understanding of the hematology/oncology market

Inclination to be a contributing member of a high performing team where individual and team success align

Experience executing with products/therapies that require complex customer delivery including logistics management

Ability to successfully work and collaborate with field based and internal cross functional partners

Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate and apply data to inform decision making

Experience managing and executing in large accounts including strategic planning, problem solving and conflict resolution

Launch experience; experience building out service lines at academic hospitals (preferred)

5+ years oncology/hematology experience

In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements

Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Outstanding presentation skills

Demonstrate initiative and willingness to work hands-on with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred

Bachelors degree preferred

Requires some overnight travel

PC literacy required; MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build consensus across multiple cross-functional teams

Proven ability to successfully communicate and execute organizational goals and brand strategies
