Amgen is seeking a Digital Health Associate at its main headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA to join the Digital Health & Innovation (DH&I) organization. The Digital Health Associate, will report directly to the Director of Digital Health and Innovation.

The Digital Health Associate will be responsible for supporting digital health & innovation projects that help drive Amgen's Beyond the Molecule vision. The Associate will drive small and medium sized projects, support large projects and programs and assist the organization with internal process continuous improvement.

Amgen's Digital Health and Innovation department explores emerging technologies that might provide value to our patients, healthcare providers or internal processes. Small teams consisting of product owners, data scientists, and engineers, partner with physicians, nurses, healthcare system administrators etc. use agile methods to quickly evaluate technology opportunities and identify where they may provide value.

Key Responsibilities of the Digital Health Associate will include:
  • Manages day-to-day project coordination of project meetings, action item logs, decision logs, risk registers, etc.
  • Communicates project performance to various project stakeholders
  • Reviews project reporting materials for consistency, clarity, and quality of content
  • Provides recommendations for project management process improvements


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
OR
Associate's degree and 4 years of Digital Health and/or Project Management experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Digital Health and/or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent planning, communication and project execution discipline
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills
  • Strong experience with building and maintaining resource loaded project plans to manage cross functional teams across time zones and international geographies.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, energy, government)
  • PMP or other project management certifications a plus
