Synthetic Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry /Biomedical Sciences

PhDs in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry with proven strong publication record in total synthesis of complex natural products and new synthetic methods developments. Strong synthetic problem-solving skills and extensive in-depth knowledge of modern organic synthesis are a must. Experience in modern medicinal chemistry from lead identification to pre-clinical/clinical candidates’ development is required for group leader positions.  As a leading chemist in a multiple projects’ setting, this position will be actively responsible for precise lead compound design and synthesis and optimization of lead compounds to high quality preclinical and clinical candidates. They will need to work out the chemical process to prepare sufficient quantity of compounds for in depth biological evaluation to CMC development. Strong English and interpersonal skills will be required.

PhDs in modern molecular and cellular biology or pharmacology with 2 years’ postdoctoral/industry experience in target identifications and validations, in vitro assay development, in vivo efficacy and mechanism studies in oncology, CNS disorders, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. This position will be responsible for designing, validating, executing and troubleshooting experiments, coordinating and leading new drug bioactivity assessment activities in support of the lead optimization and development of pre-clinical/clinical candidates. Strong English and interpersonal skills will be required.
