Purpose of the Position:

The primary functions of this position are: a) responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes and b) manage the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system. This position will report to the Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Prepare Maintenance Work Orders. This includes allocating resources requiring manpower, materials, tools, and fill out equipment release documentation.

Manage the day-to-day needs with the CMMS. This includes, but is not limited to, training of new users, generating reports, and working with end users to ensure all work is completed on-time.

Assist the Spare Parts Coordinator in identifying and purchasing spare parts and materials within the CMMS.

Revise maintenance documentation based on feedback from Maintenance Supervision.

Maintain department metrics.

Support the scheduling of work to include interaction with maintenance, production scheduling, engineering, and quality. Ensure the delivery of maintenance activities in a timely manner to comply with equipment availability and performance.

Scheduling vendors for preventative maintenance activities and maintain the vendor contact list.

Review and process CMMS-generated work requests to determine validity and accuracy of information.

Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion.

Job Knowledge Required:
    • High school diploma is required
    • 2+ years' experience working with a CMMS preferred
    • Must be a self-starter and able to work without close supervision
    • Good written and verbal communication skills; able to correspond with all levels of personnel
    • Some experience in scheduling maintenance work is preferred
    • A willingness to serve on interdepartmental development team
