The Manager, Ecosystem Data Solutions sits within the Development Operations Organization and will

provide support to functions across Development Operations. The primary function of the Ecosystem Team is to ensure R&D functions maintain a broad view and perspective across all systems and data sources to have an industry leading technology and data-enabled process. This role will leverage advanced data analysis skills to create innovative approaches to solve business problems and deliver significant measurable impact. Act as an analytics expert and liaise with cross-functional stakeholders in clinical development to discuss complex data related requirements and opportunities to leverage advanced analytics techniques to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drives the execution of all Development Operations processes and systems related to the analysis and utilization of data
  • Performs analysis tasks in support of clinical trial designs in collaboration with the Development Design Center (DDC)
  • Actively collaborates with Development Operations stakeholders to provide support of clinical analyses. Ensures consistency across deliverables within and across therapeutic areas and business partners
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and value creation by using objective data-based evidence
  • Identifies opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics techniques and methods to drive business value
  • Develop solutions that bring critical insights to wide scale of different problems
  • Develop, prototype and test methods and algorithms on data sets, both small and large. Leverage emerging statistical methodologies to drive innovation in clinical trials
  • Keep abreast of new and current including technologies and methodologies that can support the utilization of clinical data to produce efficiencies and create new value propositions.
  • Influences key stakeholders across functions, oversee the delivery of data analysis and review deliverables, ensuring alignment.
  • Works with team to ensure analytical work product is consistent from study to study where appropriate and that user experience is optimized and follows the design principles and standards established by the team
  • Utilizes operational analytics and project management tools to optimize execution of programs and studies, to manage internal and external resources, to track study progress, and to prepare study status reports. Anticipates and identifies issues that could affect timelines or quality and develops options and solutions


Basic:
  • BS in statistics, computer sciences or other technology related areas.
  • 4+ years of clinical research, analytics-related experience, or computer software experience in database development and reporting
  • Good understanding of clinical trial process and clinical technology. Experience in managing a clinical trial from initiation through to completion is preferred
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts in layman's terms
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated history of successful execution in a fast-paced environment and in managing multiple priorities effectively
