Summary:
The Global Development Systems SharePoint Project Associate contributes on simple SharePoint projects in role such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, Trainer or tester and provides day to day SharePoint administrative support. The position requires a strong understanding of SharePoint 2013, 2016 and SharePoint Online, O365 and related technologies. The position requires hands-on expertise in technologies such as SharePoint and off-the-shelf software products along with a broad understanding of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs business domain.
This individual is self-motivated and can take on simple technical/information assignments with minimal supervision. He/she must have excellent interpersonal, presentation and writing skills
Responsibilities:
• Contributes on simple projects with roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, Trainer, or Tester.
• Works with end users in understanding business needs and designing creative solutions.
• Performs SharePoint administration functions and works with IT on day-to-day support.
• Establishes best practices in the support of systems, by producing and/or providing input to work instructions, operating manuals etc.
• Must have excellent understanding of SharePoint and its capabilities.
• Must be able to take on multiple simple assignments and work independently, with minimal supervision on task implementation.
• Must be able to manage the delivery of simple solutions end to end.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree - 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• Experience in providing expert support in Sharepoint and Sharepoint based technologies.
• Experience in business analysis, system design and producing quality documentation.
• Experience in implementing simple configuration changes in Sharepoint based technologies.
• SharePoint 2013, 2016 and SharePoint Online, O365 experience in implementations, project management, requirements gathering and customization
• Strong understanding of both SharePoint site administration and site content administration activities.
• Provide technical consultation to business users by translating business process/requirements into SharePoint solutions.
• Good understanding of SharePoint best practices for out-of-box configuraitions such as sites, sub-sites, pages, web parts, content types, lists/libraries, permissions and workflows.
• Good problem solving, technical writing and verbal communication skills
