We are seeking a motivated R&D associate to join the VI-Next group to support our effort in developing new in vivo disease models and testing the therapeutic potential of new candidate molecules. The new recruit will contribute to project advancement by performing in vivo work and in vitro assays such as cell culture, immunoassay and flow cytometry. The ideal candidate must have the ability to perform both in vivo and in vitro laboratory work. Strong skills in cellular and molecular biology, and knowledge of immunology are highly desirable.

• Immunization and injection of mice, disease and body scoring, collection and processing of blood and tissue samples

• Ex vivo analysis of mouse and human samples using isolation of specific cell population techniques, primary cell culture, immunoassays such as ELISAs, ELISPOT or MSD and flow cytometry

• Design, troubleshoot and optimize immune and functional assays (e.g ELISA, luciferase) or flow cytometry panels

• Analyze data (using Graphpad Prism, Excel, FlowJo), interpret results, keep details records of experiments and overtime, suggest follow-up experiments

• Work independently or with supervisor to prepare and deliver presentations in formal and informal group meeting

• Contribute to lab maintenance and keep track of supply/reagent stocks

• BS and minimum 2 years' experience

• Candidates must be able to work both independently and in a team setting, be highly organized, flexible, and motivated.

• Experience in proper handling of mice, blood and tissue collection and

various injections route will be a distinct advantage

• Experience with aseptic cell culture, ELISAs , flow cytometry and MSD is highly preferred

• Must have basic computer and experience collecting and analyzing biological data. Preferred experience with GraphPad Prism, FACS DIVA software, FlowJo.
