Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to apply cutting-edge computation technologies in multi-omics data analysis. The successful candidate will join a team that focuses on identification of biomarkers and therapeutic targets in the Immuno-Oncology (IO) space.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and contribute to projects that apply artificial intelligence (AI) to R&D, diagnostics and therapeutics.

• Design, develop, and implement tools for processing and analyzing high-throughput next-generation sequencing data, including but not limited to ExomeSeq, RNASeq, copy number, methylation data as well as single cell seq.

• Work closely with IO teams and other members of the Regeneron Therapeutic Focus Areas (TFAs) to provide critical analytics support to core pre-clinical and early clinical projects. Communicate results with scientists and refine analysis based on feedback.

• Prepare clear, concise and easy-to-understand presentations and documentations for TFAs, collaborators and senior management.

• Contribute to team efforts of developing Molecular Profiling strategies and benchmarking the best practice.

• Publish and present novel findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in computer science, bioinformatics, physics, applied mathematics, biological science, or a related field

• 5-8 years of working experience in data mining and modeling

• Solid programming skills and proficiency with scientific computing software (R and/or MATLAB), scripting languages (Python), and bioinformatics tools

• Strong knowledge on big data technologies and cloud computing

• Technical skills on machine learning/AI is desired

• Experience with next-generation sequence data analysis is desired

• Strong record of research publications.
