Job Summary:

Supports and processes IT Procurement requests for the IT Department. Creates SAP Requisitions for IT Procurement requests. Accountable for budget allocation in the IT online requisition system, with creation and maintenance of project codes from the Finance team. Utilizes P-Card for spend for non-PO procurement. Provides Concur reports to Finance with breakout of spend for tracking. Aligns with Finance for budget planning and tracking.

Responsibilities:

Manages all IS Procurement processes through utilization of online IS Request system (E-procurement) and DSI system, (SAP). Ensures P2P and JSOX Compliance requirements are met. Creates E-procurement workflows to route to IT managers, determines budget allocation and assigns requests to IS Coordinators for processing in SAP.

Oversees quotes obtained by IS Coordinators, as well as invoice processing. Works with Helps Desk Management to ensure accurate and appropriate inventory levels.

Distribute key study documents to the CRO and vendors as appropriate.

Runs reports routinely for IT Leadership for Budget performance, breakout of spend, and project reports for spend to date.

Manages escalated issues from internal customers and work with vendors to ensure resolution for all issues regarding hardware/software purchasing and distribution. Identifies areas for improvement and implements changes to improve the IS Procurement processes.

Utilizes E-Procurement reporting functionality to provide management with past purchasing history, including technical specs for equipment and budgetary allocation. Analyzes data and identifies trends.

Utilizes SAP and E-procurement reporting to investigate past purchasing history, including technical specifications for equipment and budgetary allocation. Analyzes data and identifies trends to reduce costs. Provides budget reporting to Directors and cost center owners for assistance in budget tracking.

Manages IS work breakdown structures in SAP to be consistent with DSI Business Plan. Defines requirements to Finance Department; applies problem solving and innovative solutions for WBS structure and technical setup in SAP.

Works with vendors and internal departments to roll out new equipment to field and home office employees. Serves on project teams for IT Procurement initiatives, implements new technologies working with vendors and internal departments. Manages purchases and assets for roll out of new systems and equipment to Field, Home Office and R&D.

Utilize SAP functionalities to provide Directors and project owners with reports for budget status. Analyzes data for tracking budget spend.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or Assoc nursing degree/diploma with relevant clinical development experience is acceptable.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 3 years Purchasing, and administrative experience required.

Experience in SAP, Information Systems operations and/or finance preferred.

Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills required.
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) required.
