The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that the field representatives have the appropriate resources, support, and information to deliver on brand messages to HCP's. In addition, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the Managed Health Care and Complete patient services teams to help ensure that field representatives have the appropriate HCP facing resources and messages regarding access and patient support. An ability to work cross functionally, influence without authority, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail is critical to the role's success.
  • Build strong internal relationships amongst cross-functional groups and partners (Sales, Complete, Managed Health Care, Legal, Promo, Regulatory and Medical) to identify and ensure execution of tactics consistent with the brands strategic imperatives.
  • Collaborate with external agency and the training team, where appropriate, to support and coordinate business meetings distinct to the team, including agenda, content, messaging, and logistic support.
  • Ensure that the sales force has the resources and ongoing information necessary to support the brand strategy through ongoing and regular communications with sales team.
  • Collaborate with the peer-to-peer team to help manage speaker decks, speaker programs, annual plan, speaker bureau, and speaker training. Serve as liaison.

Market Access:

Supports US Market Access marketing strategy. Effectively orchestrates communication and alignment across the Payer, Health System, Policy, and Trade channels and serve as the US Market Access subject matter expert for the Brand Team.

  • Provide support for marketing vision, strategies, plans and resource investment for and pipeline products while encompassing a "Team" mindset in all strategies.
  • Serve as the US Market Access and reimbursement subject matter expert to the Brand Marketing Team, Global Commercial Development, and Global Market Access team
  • Interac t with the Specialty Pharmacies in the limited distribution network including overseeing quarterly business reviews, performance metrics, and collaborating with external stakeholders to improve patient access to therapy.
  • Work with the Specialty Pharmacies in the limited distribution network (LDN), the field payer team, to streamline Rx to Ship processes by removing hurdles and identifying opportunities for improvement. Leverage best in class performance amongst the LDN to drive performance across all the LDN pharmacies.
  • Work with the US Market Access Integrated Brand Team and cross functional stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the US Managed Care environment as it pertains to Products currently in development. Provide feedback as appropriate to Global Market Access team, and Global Commercial Development.
  • Engage in the development of the brand pre-launch strategy in partnership with key cross- functional partners (e.g. marketing analytics and business intelligence, clinical development, medical affairs, HEOR, medical and regulatory review, OEC, and legal). Drive primary market research activities designed to inform launch strategy and development of value proposition.
  • Build a value proposition that conveys the clinical and economic value provided by the portfolio by understanding and articulating the business implications and economic impact for each stakeholder.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to marketing strategy and tactical execution
  • Work with Government Affairs and Health Policy Execs on evolving CMS strategy and engagement. Lead the coordination of relevant stakeholder involvement.

  • 3 years of marketing experience or 3 years of US Market Access
  • Pre- launch activities and Marketing or Market Access launch experience
  • Knowledge of Part B/ Part B DME marketplace, government pricing codes and reimbursement a plus but not required
