The Business Analysis & Info Senior Manager is responsible for delivering analytics and insights to support brand planning and strategy for multiple key oncology assets within the US and globally. The individual in this role will be responsible for delivering analysis using claims data, demand data, electronic medical records data, and other data sources to provide stakeholders with a holistic, objective, and detailed understanding of the performance of several products.

The individual in this will synthesize data from multiple sources into an integrated picture to understand brand performance. He or she is a passionate champion of insights-driven strategy and objective evidence-based decision making.

This position reports to the Director of the Inline and Biosimilars Oncology Commercial Insights Pod within Commercial Data and Analytics (cDNA).

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver analysis using complex data sources including account-level demand data, claims data, electronic medical records data, etc. to generate a holistic, objective, and detailed understanding of brand business and to drive investment decisions and define commercial strategies and tactics
  • Support key financial activities, including Quarterly Business Reviews and Business Cases by providing objective, data-driven insights
  • Deliver regular and accurate assessments of performance of products to US and global commercial leadership, clearly articulating data and its meaning for the business
  • Drive the creation of best-in-class forecast models in partnership with forecasting colleagues
  • Generate and explain complex analysis plans and results to stakeholders including, but not limited to, marketing, sales, finance, and pricing
  • Work cross-functionally with data science and data strategy teams to optimally leverage multiple global data sources to deliver insights to US and global stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective execution of analytics
  • Enhance team capabilities by researching and implementing new analytical tools, internal and external best practices, new data sources, etc.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience


Master's degree and 4 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience


Bachelor's degree and 6 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and controversial findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management
  • Strong knowledge of marketing analytics in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Expertise in automated data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire)
  • Expertise in database languages (e.g. SQL)
  • Experience with advanced spreadsheets, modeling software, reporting software, and database design
  • Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups
  • Demonstrated analytical skills-understands the strengths and limitations of different analytical approaches and their findings
  • Skill in handling multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry datasets and databases
  • Strong understanding of the latest developments, unmet medical needs and opportunities in oncology
