Summary: Responsible for assisting with the start-up, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair work for a variety of facilities systems, equipment and buildings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform daily work orders and PMs and efficiently coordinate the work completion and documentation of PMs and WOs.

• Complete Work Requests for repairs on general building repairs and tasks.

• Coordination and oversight of contracted maintenance including defining scope, obtaining bids or proposals, and initiating purchase requisitions to complete tasks.

• Operational duties to maintain site Pest Control Programs.

• Perform daily operations, maintenance and repairs on utility systems, manufacturing equipment and building systems in a cGMP environment with minimal supervision including, but not limited to:
o Assist Plant Utility Technicians with water and boiler operations and chemical treatment programs.
o Assist HVAC Technicians with Chiller plant & cooling tower operations and systems, and air compressor systems.
o Assist with repairs on Pharmaceutical compressed gases and piping.
o Assist Clean Utility Technicians in Water Room operations.

• Assist with office relocations, ceiling tile replacement, painting, and cleaning and all general maintenance work required.

• Follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and good business practices.

• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through adherence to safety guidelines and policies.

• Adhere to and remain current in assigned IOPS plant and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintain an up-to-date training file to ensure compliance.

• May be assigned tasks across all Facility areas as required.

• May involve working off-shift to provide 24/7 coverage.

Education and Experience:

• AAS degree, preferably in an Engineering or Construction Technologies related discipline, with two years of relevant experience OR HSD/GED with 4 years of relevant experience

• Prior experience in the maintenance and operation of large scale utilities plant preferred

• Level will be based upon relevant experience
