We are seeking highly talented individuals to join our Human Resources Organization as a summer graduate intern. Interns will be assigned to a role within an HR function (i.e.., HR Business Partner, Total Rewards, Talent, HR Staff Services) and complete timely and relevant projects in support of Amgen's strategic and tactical goals. Work will be thoughtfully designed to address real business priorities and to provide challenging growth opportunities, exposure to leadership, and a view of the cross-functional nature of a full-time role in HR at Amgen.

Amgen's 12 week Human Resources Development Program Internship offers meaningful project experiences that will help to accelerate learning and make you an outstanding candidate for our fulltime rotational program. This internship also provides the opportunity to participate in executive and social networking events and community volunteer projects, while providing competitive compensation. Limited relocation, housing and/or transportation allowance may be available for eligible candidates.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

18 years or older

Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

Completion as a first year graduate student before internship starts and currently enrolled in a MBA program for a MBA internship OR a Master's program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR PhD for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university

Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment

Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

In process of completing the first year of a Master's degree in an HR-related field

Minimum of two years professional work experience

Leadership, flexibility, and ability to navigate ambiguous situations

Effective written and oral communication and ability to influence individuals at all levels of the organization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate and partner in a team-based environment to drive outcomes

Demonstrated personal initiative and self-motivation

Willingness and ability to engage proactively in continuous improvement of self and company
