The Sr. Associate, Contracts and Pricing Operations is a key member of Strategic Pricing and Contracts (SPC) specifically within the Managed Care Rebates team. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring complete and accurate processing of managed care contractual rebates in the Global Contracts and Pricing System (GCPS) to support the timely calculation, execution, and reporting of contracted discounts extended to customers. Position operates within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to take the initiative, problem solve, work independently, and exercise appropriate business judgment. Position also requires strong investigative, and organizational skills to prioritize multiple competing interests. Data collected requires monitoring, analysis, validation, and loading into relevant systems. This role requires close collaboration with several cross-functional groups including IS, Pricing, Government Pricing, and Legal. Position is responsible for ensuring that the discount process, documentation, and execution are performed in accordance with US Contracts and Pricing Operations, Government Pricing, Sarbanes Oxley, and other applicable policies. Additional responsibilities include participation and leadership of special projects within SPC; participation in Contract development and review; collaboration with IS to assist in requirements development; and identify/recommend process improvements and lead implementation efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of commercial contracting, pricing, finance, accounting, and/or sales operations experience

OR

Associates degree and 6 years of commercial contracting, pricing, finance, accounting, and/or sales operations experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of commercial contracting, pricing, finance, accounting, and/or sales operations experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (i.e. MBA or equivalent experience)
  • 2 or more years of commercial contracting, pricing, finance, accounting, and/or sales operations experience in a biopharma or related business environment
  • Experience solving complex business problems and managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility and leadership experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience providing and delivering information for decision making by executive management
  • Ability to read and understand legal contract documents
