Head of Sales

Werum IT Solutions America, Inc., an industry leading software firm within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Head of Sales to join our team. As a Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives to generate and qualify our sales pipeline, ultimately closing business with new and existing accounts. You will have the opportunity to advance your skills in a challenging environment where your work will directly impact the business quickly.


  • Work closely with senior and executive management to ascertain relevant and strategic business challenges facing prospective customers
  • Assist in identifying and obtaining potential new customers
  • Provide team support in new project acquisitions
  • Present Werum and PAS-X to prospective customers in meetings through various methods
  • Conduct customer target mapping and identify key contacts
  • Preparation of and participation in trade shows and conferences
  • Map customer requirements to MES functionality
  • Provide account management to existing Werum customers as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or business is required
  • A minimum 5 years of experience and knowledge in technical sales, as well as 2 years of management experience is required
  • Knowledge of key IT systems used in manufacturing environments preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn software functionality for demonstration & consulting purposes Familiarity with
  • GMP/pharma environment and pharmaceutical process knowledge is a plus
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as persuasive  presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Persistent in pursuing leads
