SVP Professional Services

As the SVP Professional Services, you will be responsible for working in a regulated industry requiring the ability to lead and manage the organization to achieve all corporate objectives and successfully fulfill growth projections. This position has bottom-line responsibility in the way of overseeing the activities of our Operations, Consulting, and Managed Services organizations. In addition, the SVP Professional Services will be an integral member of the senior leadership within Werum America with the ability to yield major impact. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee, manage, and drive the growth and expansion of the Operations, Consulting, and Managed Services organizations within Werum America
• Manage the activities of a team of department heads, including providing opportunities for professional development and growth
• Lead from the front as a player and coach. Set the tone internally and externally via physical presence and modeling of Körber and Werum core values
• Establish KPIs that help measure application stability and performance, quality of overall software solutions and engineering team productivity
• Champion strategy to drive operational efficiency including delivery, margin, and performance across Werum America
• Provide senior leadership to a team of highly driven professionals
• Develop an operating budget and manage a system of controls to ensure that performance goals are met
• Identify competitive strategies and evaluate and/or adjust the organization’s procedures accordingly, delivering efficient operating standards
• Oversee the scope, risks, results, schedule and profitability to deliver successful programs and multi-work stream projects
• Analyze training needs, coordinate with training department to utilize appropriate resources and set expectations for roles within departments, including professional development, while holding direct managers accountable for the same with their staff
• Stay abreast of new technologies and develop new business opportunities
• Act as a contributing member of Sr. Leadership team helping to define and influence decisions
• Build deep and meaningful relationships with existing clients and prospective clients
• Collaborate across multiple areas of the organization, including global alignment with Services and Operations team
• Actively research and advise on market conditions and industry
• Drive process improvements in how organization is delivered to the market in an effort to make it easy for clients to do business with Werum
• Deliver board-level presentations, driving actions and decisions
• Create an environment of teamwork and collaboration to produce outsized results
• Management and analysis of utilization reports, performance reports and metrics, capacity, invoice planning and revenue sheet
• Provide organizational strategy and financial oversight to profit centers; drive revenue to contribute directly to the company’s bottom line

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree is required; advanced degree is preferred
• At least 10 years of proven leadership experience, preferably in a life science, IT solution, manufacturing IT, or automation industry vertical
• Experience in collaborating across cross-functional and global team structures
• Strong executive presence with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Highly skilled negotiator and sound business finance knowledge
• Relationship management and networking experience
• Deep project management experience
• Team management and people development experience
• Track record of being an internal and external business leader
• Comfort in working in a fast growing and paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel, potentially 30-35%
