The Vice President, US Market Access will lead the development and execution of the market access strategy for Yescarta and future Kite cellular therapies in the US, ensuring patients and providers have access to them. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in the US reimbursement system, across both public and private payers and all settings of care, as well as understanding of the unique and emerging reimbursement landscape for Oncology therapies and a curative treatment paradigm.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Experience and Qualifications
  • 15+ years experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Commercial and Market Access roles, including a focus in Oncology. Experience in cell therapy a plus
  • Ability to lead by example, attract and develop talent, build partnerships and create a culture of collaboration and high performing teams that fosters open communication, constructive feedback and organizational flexibility
  • Requires ability to travel minimum of 50%
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to successfully lead in a novel, dynamic environment
  • Creativity and resilience in problem solving and a relentless, hands-on drive to implement and accomplish performance goals and objectives in a rapid-paced, changing business environment.
  • Comfort with uncertainty and the ability to exercise sound judgment and determine appropriate action where precedent may not exist. The candidate should have a mindset toward innovation and non-traditional market access approaches when appropriate
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to and engage with a wide range of audiences
  • Sustained track record of achievement in developing Market Access strategies and leading teams to execute on the strategy
  • Must have an undergraduate degree, with a relevant post graduate degree preferred
