The Operations Information Systems (OIS) Portfolio Manager works within the Project & Service Excellence Group to cross functionally support the Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Process Development, and Quality IS Teams. This individual will own and manage all process, financial, and governance aspects of OIS Project Portfolio, as well as manage aspects of the project management team.

The successful candidate will be a strong contributor to the delivery capability of Operations IS by maturing the portfolio process and governance, closely tracking and reporting the Project Portfolio forecast and spend, supporting functions in investment and project lifecycle processes, and leveraging analytics tools to provide OIS Leadership with various presentations and portfolio related insights for decision making. He/she will also be responsible for oversight of our supplier relationships within our Application Run Management function.

Expected travel will be mostly domestic (minimal international) up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Own and mature OIS Portfolio governance, including process, technology, prioritization, and reporting (updates on Financial Performance, Portfolio Health, Operational Metric Performance, and any ongoing initiatives)
  • Drive a deep/comprehensive analytics process related to OIS projects, including spend, performance, value delivery, prioritization, and historical trends
  • Coordinate and drive various OIS Data Requests related to Project Portfolio, Application Portfolio, and Workforce Metrics by collaborating with OIS Functional Leads -gather/consolidate cross-functional raw data and leverage tools such as Tableau and PowerPoint to present information in a form easily consumable by leadership
  • Closely track OIS Portfolio Spend as well as Forecasts to ensure spend alignment with forecasted cash flows
  • Represent Operations IS in the bi weekly Enterprise Portfolio Touchpoint meetings to ensure alignment with enterprise initiatives and take part in their formation
  • Conduct Portfolio deep dives to identify optimization opportunities within Project Portfolio, reducing spend while increasing alignment and value
  • Be accountable for OIS project portfolio data within our enterprise tool, Service Now PPS, including the recurring LE (latest estimate) financial process
  • Closely collaborate with the Portfolio Director and OIS Executive Director to ensure requested leadership data is periodically updated and presented in consumable form (leveraging Tableau, Alteryx, Excel) and that appropriate decisions are made on a timely basis
  • Coordinate Functional Leads to ensure monthly submissions of Key Milestones and Functional project updates for consolidation of ad-hoc CIO Reports and Business Performance Presentations
  • Manage key supplier relationships within our Application Run Management program
  • Partner with the Office of the CIO to lead and deliver special initiatives at the enterprise level (e.g. system rationalization, investment optimization, information protection visibility)


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate Degree plus 2 years of Information Systems Experience
OR
Master's Degree plus 6 years of Information Systems Experience
OR
Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of Information Systems Experience
OR
Associate's degree plus 10 years of Information Systems Experience

OR

High School/GED plus 2 years of Information Systems Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to concisely present various subjects to leadership and coordinate all functional leads to provide requested data/updates
  • Proficiency in Analytics tools such as Tableau and Alteryx (plus deep experience with Excel)
  • Skilled with formulating data and ideas into concise and meaningful visual communication in tools such as PowerPoint
  • Ability to drive and facilitate discussions between multiple stakeholders in meeting or workshop settings (critical in Portfolio Prioritization Process)
  • Experience with project management and project financial management, including budgeting
  • Experience with Agile/Iterative Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe, highly preferred
  • Experience in managing a team of up to 10 individuals with a flexible approach ranging from servant leadership to directive depending on the situation
