Job Details

The Senior Manager, Reimbursement, Access and Value (RAV), reports to the RAV Director, Bone Franchise and in collaboration with the brand, supports development of and executes brand specific reimbursement, access and value strategy for the Organized Customer Team (OCT) and the Bone Sales teams to ensure payer coverage and patient access to Amgen's Bone Franchise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Execution of RAV strategy (strategy developed with Director RAV and brand team)
  • Collaborates with the Medical team to clearly communicate the Bone franchise access strategy
  • Acts as primary contact for Medical team to provide brand updates, key insights, and perspective on the commercial market place for the bone franchise.
  • Primary contact for GHE, CfoR and Global Payor Lead to provide updates on bone franchise insights, payor landscape and key questions.
  • Responsible for working across key stakeholders, including OCT field team, to develop payor insights leading to development of the bone franchise payor strategy
  • Collaborates with Value and Access Marketing to develop brand-specific support program messages and tools for the OCT team
  • Collaborate with brand team to communicate RAV strategy and ensure alignment with overall brand strategy
  • Works with Pricing and Contracting to ensure product strategy is aligned with pricing and discounting platform.
  • Conducting periodic brand-specific RAV team meetings to communicate strategy and to drive alignment and execution
  • Collaborates with Value Marketing and training to develop OCT semester plan of action, semester meeting content/training and reimbursement goals
  • Track OCT coverage/POA goals and support dashboard activities
  • Participates with finance in the LEDR process to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with strategic planning and quarterly business reviews
  • Triage RAV related questions and issues and ensures that items are addressed for OCT related sales teams
  • For sales force and OCT new hires, provides RAV-related training
  • RAV budget management


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five or more years sales, marketing and/or Payor/Regional Medical Liaison experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
  • Proven strategic thinking and ability to take projects from inception to execution
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Advanced project management skills
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare payer environment
  • Ability to work through others and manage in a matrix environment
  • Ability to handle and achieve results with multiple competing priorities
  • In-depth understanding of the Osteo healthcare payer environment
  • Osteo marketing or sales experience
  • Payer marketing experience
  • Payer account management experience
  • Access marketing experience
  • MBA or other Master's degree
