Director, Talent Acquisition

While leading AbbVie's Global Operations recruitment team you'll deliver a proactive strategy that results in attracting & acquiring the strongest talent enabling us to make a remarkable impact on people's lives. You'll develop and implement creative attraction & engagement strategies, leveraging market insights to build a pipeline of talent as well as enhance internal processes and systems, all while partnering closely with senior leadership and HR partners.

You will:

• Set vision, strategy and goals for all aspects of talent acquisition across Operations, which includes Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Purchasing as well other functions.
• Lead, interface with and mentor and develop an international team of talent acquisition professionals across the US, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Puerto Rico, Singapore & Netherlands
• Lead effective recruitment process, practices and standards that provide high quality experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
• Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization that yields consistent processes and strong results. Provide consultative guidance leveraging data and market intelligence to deliver on talent demands & ultimately positive business results.
• Partner with internal people leaders & key stakeholders to develop and deliver on talent strategies fulfilling talent needs
• Regularly assess future talent needs and partner with business and finance to ensure appropriate budgeting is in place to support recruiting demand.
• Lead, plan and manage change and projects, requiring agility in support of varying priorities as new initiatives develop

Basic:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar career.
• Eight (8) or more years of progressive HR experience in large, global environments
• Five (5) or more years in global talent acquisition or sourcing role
• Previous experience supporting Manufacturing or Operations clients is strongly preferred
• Significant experience in managing multiple task and projects related to the Human Resources field as well as project management knowledge and skills.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Proven team leadership experience demonstrating strong results
