As the Manager, Disruptive Emerging Technology Strategy, you will work closely with the Director of Innovation to deliver the no-limits, "think big" vision that define AbbVie's next-generation approaches to data science, digital health, and next-gen computing. This position requires a credible leader with a well-established and consistent record of understanding emerging technology trends across healthcare and technology and converting this knowledge into creative, timely, and realistic strategic plans for our partners across AbbVie's global research, operations, and commercial functions.

The role is based in AbbVie's Global Headquarters in Lake County, IL.

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • BS + 14 years of experience, or MS + 12 years of experience or PhD + 6 years of experience.
  • MS, MBA or PhD in computer science, computational biology, computational chemistry, bioinformatics or other health related computational science discipline is preferred.
