Job Details
The Business Human Resource Project Specialist partners with the Operations Manufacturing Business Human Resources (BHR) team to ensure optimal delivery of HR support and solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with BHR in preparation for all performance management activities, including talent reviews, year-end calibration activities, and goal setting. This position will enable the BHR team to deliver business solutions faster by standardizing communications, ensuring timelines are met in the most agile and efficient manner, reviewing data for accuracy, identifying trends and common insights to help drive practical business outcomes.
• Co-lead with BHR webinars around HR processes designed to support Operations staff in completing annual HR processes.
• Serve as super user or system expert for those systems used by BHR for HR processes in order to assist and support BHR in the execution of related HR activities. This includes Rewards Planning Tool, Workday, Employee Survey, People Analytics and other HR systems and tools.
• Coordinate work to deliver effective and timely solutions for business partners. Proactively communicates and addresses questions posed by business to ensure understanding of HR processes and initiatives.
• Provide support to BHR for managing reductions in force. Assist with logistics, reporting, analysis, packet contents and delivery of employee packages. Primary contact for partnering with HR Shared Services teams in assuring employee data is accurate during a reorganization or realignment
• Manage on-boarding processes and activities for new hires and contractors in HR department. Support exit process for Lake County based Operations staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience required
• Prior human resources experience preferred, ideally in a generalist or specialist capacity
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong relationship building skills with peers and business partners, including Executive leaders and their staff.
• Superior communication skills, adept at communicating with internal and external senior leadership
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle highly confidential data
