We are seeking a Sr. Associate IS Engineer in our Thousand Oaks, CA headquarters to join our industry-leading Regulatory Information Management and Submission Document Management transformation program.

A deep understanding of the Veeva Vault RIM suite and regulatory submission management processes is a plus but not mandatory. If you are a technically-oriented, fast and motivated learner, then we invite you to join us on the most exciting RIM project in the industry!

This role will report to the Senior Manager and owner of the RIM application within the Development Information Systems organization.

Job Responsibilities:

We are a team of system and domain experts and you will be an active participant in all phases of the RIM Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) including:
  • Serve as the technical and functional expert on Veeva Vault RIM
  • Responsible for implementing configurations for lifecycles, workflows, security settings, reports, objects, document types/subtypes, etc.
  • Participate in requirements gathering efforts (Business Process/Functional and Technical Specifications)
  • Coordinate with Veeva during release planning and development, and resolution of any major issues in the application


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

Or

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis experience

Or

Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or Life Sciences and 2+years related experience in Information Systems/Technology or Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate, facilitate and work within a complex matrix organization
  • Experience working with internal business clients to understand their business processes, handle scope of work/expectations and suggest/recommend IS solutions
  • You have knowledge of, and experience with implementing and supporting COTS (configurable off the shelf) applications in the life sciences industry
  • You are passionate about hands-on work and bring expertise in configuration with Veeva Vault RIM or other COTS. Alternatively, a strong motivation to grow into a hands-on configurator role is required
  • You have working knowledge of Agile project methodologies and working in Product teams
  • You have shown excellent written, presentation, and verbal interpersonal skills, including demonstrable experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
  • You have experience working in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry and current approaches to GxP computer related systems
