The van Lookeren Campagne lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate to perform independent research to study how cross-talk between immune cells and stromal cells controls intestinal epithelial barrier function during homeostasis and disease.

In particular, we are interested in the identification of novel cell-specific regulatory pathways and in dissecting their impact on the tissue microenvironment in vitro utilizing intestinal organoids and in vivo models of intestinal inflammation and cancer.

The postdoctoral position is for 3 years with the option to extend for an additional year .

Basic qualifications

PhD at the time of appointment

Preferred qualifications

Ph.D. in the area of immunology, cancer immunology, cell-biology or molecular biology

Have independent research skills such as the design, execution and interpretation of experimental results as demonstrated by previous publications

Individual with experience in immunology or immuno-oncology
