Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics - Commercial

The Associate Manager role within Advanced Analytics is an individual contributor role that serves to oversee and develop best in class methodologies to support the analytical business needs of sales and marketing. The primary objective of the role is to provide the technical component of analytics that support strategic and tactical decision making in the areas of sales force and marketing effectiveness, both for in line and pre-commercial products.


• Utilize analytical tools to track, report, and analyze marketing and sales information

• Consult and perform ad-hoc, data-mined analysis solutions for brand teams, sales, and business development

• Clean, validate, and integrate data from various sources

• Produce reports and analyses with automation

• Analyze promotion response models and provide insights and recommendations that optimize targeting and sampling for different customer segments

• Design, build and run predictive models to uncover actionable insights and business opportunities

• Document codes, assumptions, and processes

• Collaborate with corporate internal, commercial partners, and vendors to solve issues and understand impacts

• Continually update knowledge of industry data sources & techniques that could be used to improve Regeneron's commercial analysis


• BS/BA required. Advanced degree in quantitative subject (e.g. Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics) preferred

• Minimum 3 years analytical experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or consumer products industries. Must have at least 5+ years of progressive related industry experience.

• SAS code-writing skills (BASE, STAT, SQL, Macros) preferred

• Commercial business intelligence tool report creation experience preferred (e.g.: Tableau, Spotfire)

• In-depth knowledge and data mining experience using secondary subnational prescription and sales data. Experience with longitudinal patient, specialty pharmacy/ hub data preferred. Experience in HCP Targeting and Segmentation preferred.

• Experience in promotion response modeling, ROI analysis, commercial mix modeling preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

• Presentation skills to take sophisticated analysis and apply a business context for non-analytical associates preferred
