Medical Affairs at Regeneron:
Our Medical Affairs physicians and scientists are experts on our medicines and form an extremely valuable part of our global development organization. We serve as an important liaison between Regeneron and the scientific and healthcare community. Medical Affairs is organized in an optimally aligned matrix structure for delivery of therapeutic and functional area expertise.

Responsibilities:
The Medical Affairs Training & Development Specialist supports value-added technical training and education essential for the assimilation of Medical Affairs employees and internal contractors, as appropriate. Position will liaise cross functionally with HR, HR L&OD, Global Development Training, Legal/Compliance, Commercial Operations, Commercial Training, and other groups as needed.

The Medical Affairs Training & Development Specialist:
  • Supports Medical Affairs (MA) Training and Development initiatives from start to finish, including identification and refinement of learning needs, planning & logistics, to post training support
  • Assists with MA core assimilation and continuous training requirements for products
  • Serves as an extension for MA orientation and on-boarding
  • Works cross functionally with internal MA business partners (Functional Area leads, Therapeutic Area (TA) Directors, administrators) and other Regeneron business partners (Commercial Operations, HR, Tech Training, Global Clinical Development (GCD) Systems) to assimilate MA team members
  • Serves as non-GXP Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for MA content, including but not limited to, learning content management, user group/assignment management, documentation & reporting, and user support
  • Liaises with clinical training partners on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training curriculums and on MA training initiatives to follow appropriate course creation & reporting, and adheres to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Provides user support for LMS & other commonly used systems/applications, responds & resolves basic issues, triages issues to respective system owners as needed
  • Develops, refines and updates training and resource materials on an ongoing basis, and partners with internal and external subject matter experts for content creation as needed
  • Assists with ad hoc training requests and organization of new education training sessions per need
  • Supports MA Professional Development activities
  • Supports various Medical Affairs Training & Development projects as needed
  • Monitors MA training mailbox
  • Assists with development of annual training plans, goals and metrics as needed



Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of previous pharmaceutical industry preffered
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, MS Project, Adobe required
  • Must be proactive and detail-oriented
