Liquidity Services is seeking a resourceful and passionate executive to fill a critical new business development position in our biopharma market.

We seek a smart, outgoing and goal oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills that is looking to grow with our organization and build a long and successful career.

The individual will be responsible for direct selling of Liquidity Services' biopharma surplus asset management and laboratory asset re-marketing services. This position will focus on establishing and maintaining B2B relationships and achieving aggressive sales objectives.

The key success metric will be the individual’s ability grow and improve the business by quickly assessing customers’ needs and utilizing Liquidity Services biopharma offerings to help clients maximizing their return on research and development asset investment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Use existing knowledge of the bio-pharmaceutical business services sector and procurement processes to successfully manage and grow the West coast US sales region

  • Direct selling of Liquidity Services biopharma surplus asset management and laboratory asset re-marketing services
  • Focus on establishing and maintaining B2B relationships and achieving aggressive sales objectives
  • Develop a network to reach the appropriate individuals within targeted prospect organizations
  • Maintain strong client relationships with executive level decision makers and key industry partners
  • Act as primary, client liaison with Liquidity Services internal key contacts (Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance etc.) for client service and problem resolutions.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales plans incorporating CRM funnel management and forecasting
  • Monitor activity vs the plan and take corrective action when necessary
  • Achieving assigned revenue quota
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of new/additional business
  • Identify and qualify new revenue opportunities
  • Use existing knowledge of the bio-pharmaceutical business services sector and procurement processes to successfully manage and grow the West coast US sales region
