Job Details

We have world-class cross-functional staff across the globe including sales and marketing, regional medical liaisons, oncology nurse specialists and customer account teams to ensure our discoveries go from bench to bedside.

The Manager, Value & Access Analytics (within Commercial Data and Analytics) will have responsibility of payer analytics for Value & Access commercial teams and Executive Business directors responsible for national/regional payor access and reimbursement. Beyond traditional managed care organizations, integrated delivery networks and hospital formulary decision-makers may also be a focus, as would be incorporating a broad understanding of access and reimbursement implications of payor policies across Amgen portfolio. Responsible for providing in-depth analysis of payer and reimbursement data for specific geographies/subnationals (i.e formulary access, pricing and payor control analytics etc)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analytics and reporting of large SPP, PBM's and health plans and provide insights to reimbursement, value and access teams

- Provide payer analytics across Amgen portfolio but specific focus on Enbrel
- Provide regular monthly, quarterly payer/reimbursement reporting and making modifications or recommendations for reporting enhancements.
- Analyze utilization data to provide insight into performance enhancement opportunities.
- Create regional sales organization performance metrics and providing benchmarking data for evaluation of regional sales teams.
- Prepare and deliver analytics to account managers and regional ED's
- Participate in various aspects of key cross-functional assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree
OR
Master's degree and 2 years of analytics experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of analytics experience
- Master's degree and 3 or more years of analytics experience
- 3+ years of healthcare experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, health care, and/or strategy consulting with specific experience and expertise in coverage, access and reimbursement drivers impacting the biopharmaceutical industry
- High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exhibits strong understanding of all the pharmaceutical data assets
