Job Details
The Senior Manager will also be responsible for shaping strategic priorities (aligning with global and local brand plans) and prioritizing and designing tactics and activities focused on these priorities (including prioritizing key questions, market research required). As part of these responsibilities, the Senior Manager will translate strategies into tactical plans, implement tactics working with the Novartis global team/ US team, and potentially Japan team, and identify future customer needs as we plan for future priorities.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally, navigate a partnership, work on strategic and in-line marketing, work with agencies, and work with emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
Generating and applying deep customer / competitive insights to inform the brand and tactical plan in continuing to support our launch
Completing key Commercial Strategy deliverables in preparation for launch
Partnering with regional representatives to prioritize and deliver on tactics
Leading oversight of Agency of Record to develop, track and manage program projects/budget
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and 6+ year of marketing experience, or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of marketing experience, in the biopharmaceutical industry
Experience marketing to neurologists in the U.S.
Global marketing experience
Strategic and in-line marketing experience
Experience building and optimizing digital solutions (Healthcare Provider and Patient)
Knowledge of and experience in working with the promotions legal/regulatory environment
Experience working with agencies
Experience with emerging technologies
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, experience producing business results, and outstanding organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence teams with diverse backgrounds
Competitive mindset, including ability to champion ideas, take decisions and deliver results
Proven ability to proactively problem-solve in a matrix environment
