Shift : Wednesday - Saturday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

Summary: Responsible for assisting with the start-up, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair work for a variety of facilities systems, equipment and buildings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform daily work orders and PMs and efficiently coordinate the work completion and documentation of PMs and work orders.

• Develop and manage all relevant inspection schedules to ensure all preventive maintenance activities are executed as described in the site procedures.

• Maintain and update all documentation associated with approvals for use, associated SDS, licensing, and any other documentation required per procedure.

• Perform routine audits of all department specific log books, including trending and corrective actions.

• Complete Work Requests and respond to trouble calls for all corrective actions associated with all IOPS buildings and sites.

• Coordination and oversight of contracted maintenance including defining scope, obtaining bids or proposals, and initiating purchase requisitions to complete tasks.

• Review all service reports for Regeneron contracted activities, file all documents per site procedure. Generate corrective maintenance requests based on recommendations from the service providers.

• Operational duties to maintain site Pest Control Programs.

• Track and log all pest observations by responding to notifications and properly documenting all findings following GDP requirements and site procedures, including documentation of deviations in the site quality system.

• Develop and manage all pest control inspections schedules to ensure all monitoring devices are inspected and maintained as described in the site procedure.

• Participate in periodic review and trending meetings, including quarterly and annual reports

• Assist with maintenance and repair of ceilings, walls, floors, windows, doors, roofing and grounds for all IOPS sites and buildings.

• Follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and good business practices.

• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through adherence to safety guidelines and policies.

• Adhere to and remain current in assigned IOPS site and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintain an up-to-date training file to ensure compliance.

• Ensure contracted service technicians are up to date on all site training requirements.

• May be assigned tasks across all Facility areas as required.

• May involve working off-shift to provide 24/7 coverage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and overall comfort and general familiarity with computer systems

• Ability to demonstrate basic problem solving skills

• Ability to learn and follow routine procedures independently as well as part of a team

• Comfort and flexibility to work in a changing environment

• Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50lbs

• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with the business

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Effective time management skills to allow deadlines to be met in a timely manner

Education and Experience:

• AAS degree, preferably in an Engineering or Construction Technologies related discipline, with two years of relevant experience OR HSD/GED with 4 years of relevant experience

• Prior experience in the maintenance and operation of large scale utilities plant preferred

• Level will be based upon relevant experience
