Summary
The Molecular Profiling group is seeking a talented data scientist with experience in computational biology and large-scale genomic data analysis. The scientist will collaborate with colleagues across the research and clinical development teams and expected to play a key scientific role in leveraging innovative analytics to empower data-driven decisions in advancing our pipeline.
Responsibilities
• Work with Immunology & Inflammation therapeutic area leadership to develop analytics strategy to address the gap in understanding new biology.
• Characterize molecular mechanisms and identify novel therapeutic targets and pathways from mouse model and human clinical samples.
• Manage and integrate knowledge from prior experiments & biological databases through existing or novel algorithms.
• Make scientific contributions in genomic technology and quantitative sciences at the theoretical and empirical level.
Requirements
• PhD in bioinformatics / data science, with immunology background (or vice versa), and track record of high-impact publications.
• Experience in analyze, interpret, visualize genomic data (e.g. bulk/single-cell RNA-seq) and biological networks.
• Expertise in genomic data quality assessment and algorithm development. Knowledge of AI is highly preferred.
• Proven problem-solving skills and collaborative nature in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
