Amgen's Intercontinental (ICON) Region - comprised of Canada, Latin America, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa -- has a world-class cross-functional staff across the globe including sales and marketing, regional medical liaisons, oncology nurse specialists and customer account teams to ensure Amgen's discoveries go from bench to bedside

As the ICON Oncology Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for various projects to help deliver results for key Amgen pre-launch, growth, and mature oncology brands. This portfolio of products includes AMG510, Mvasi®, XGEVA®, Vectibix ®, Nplate®, Neulasta®, NEUPOGEN®, and Aranesp® Oncology. As the Oncology Marketing Manager, you will be responsible to help grow Amgen's current oncology products, while successfully participating in the launch of a biosimilar and an innovative oncology therapeutic across the Intercontinental Region.

This role may be based at Amgen's corporate headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California or at any of the following ICON affiliates: Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mississauga, Canada; Bogota, Colombia; Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE); Mexico City, Mexico; and Istanbul, Turkey

Key Projects:
  • For launch products:
    • Help assess business opportunity and needs in the region and affiliates, and develop disease state and promotional materials
    • Multichannel and DTC strategy
    • Speaker bureau planning/training
    • Patient education and Patient Support Programs (PSP)


  • For inline products:
    • Brainstorming and executing innovative programs and solutions cross-region
    • Managing multichannel strategy and execution of promotional materials
    • Best practice sharing and problem solving across affiliates to improve customer engagement and deliver results
    • Managing product budgets and resources to invest in affiliate opportunities for growth
    • Managing regional-level opinion leader development and engagement for excellent peer-to-peer programs
    • Managing regional congress activities


Basic Qualifications (U.S.)

• Doctorate degree

OR

• Master's degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Associate's Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in commercial roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably Oncology

• Highly motivated team-oriented player with a strong work ethic

• Extremely diligent and well-organized with ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment

• Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent written, analytical and presentation skills

• Experience with Budgeting, Congress activities, OL engagement, and Oncology marketing tactics

• Outside the box, innovative thinking and problem solving
