As a member of the US Value & Access team, the Business Planning and Analysis Manager reports to the Value and Access Director - Program Office. This individual will serve as the analytics lead for the Organized Customer Team (OCT) and will work with other Program Office team members to drive efficient planning, communication, training, and overall operational excellence within OCT. Role is 50% business acumen & strategy and 50% analytics.

This includes launch activities, ad hoc Reimbursement, Access and Value (RAV) requests, and execute short and long-term solutions to increase operational efficiency and value delivered to decision makers. In addition, the ideal candidate will drive data, process and communication integration between OCT and our cross-functional partners including advocating for OCT while supporting enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment in coverage reporting and leveraging best practices from across the organization.

Job Description
  • Lead coverage tracking for portfolio of marketed products, including product survey design, database management and development and execution of executive-level reports
  • Provide insight into what the data is telling us, telling the story of the data and how it could be applied
  • Serve as the business owner of OCT's formulary and coverage tracking system; managing vendor and Contract Worker resources to ensure operational excellence and efficiency
  • Support RAV team strategy development and execution
  • Participate in customer needs-based segmentation and market research and integrate insights into tactical execution
  • Work cross-functionally to understand U.S. business dynamics and competitive environment specific to US Payers
  • Partner with a cross functional team which includes Commercial Data and Analytics (cDNA), RAV, Sales Operations and OCT to develop and execute the coverage tracking and reporting using the Formulary Coverage Tool (FCT)
  • Work cross-functionally to align OCT business processes and systems with BU and enterprise initiatives. Represent and advocate for OCT needs and requirements on cross-functional initiatives as necessary
  • Manage relationships with key external Payer Customers and third - party vendors to facilitate the development of initiatives, tools and resources and other customer related events
  • Coordinate internal legal, regulatory, and medical review of materials via the MAC/PMAC approval process and coordinate rollout of tools/resources/programs
  • Provide guidance, support and analyses to pricing/contracting counterparts
  • Provide field support that includes answering questions and participating in sales meetings and training

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Master's degree and 2 years of directly related experience, OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of directly related experience, OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of directly related experience, OR

High school diploma/GED and 12 years of directly experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • 3 or more years working closely with marketing, compliance, healthcare company or related industry experience
  • Confidence in working with staff at all levels of management and with key external customers.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects in a detail - oriented environment
  • Experience leading or being a member of a cross-functional project team
  • Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating and managing teams to timelines and project targets
  • Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
  • Advanced skills and familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to gather information from numerous stakeholders and translate into business initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, lead and manage projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment
