Summary: The Associate Manager Supply Chain Operations (Sales & Operations Process (S&OP)) supports the S&OP Planning process and drives accountability for all programs' Supply Chain execution, including internal stakeholders and external partners communication, as it pertains to S&OP. The Associate Manager is responsible for providing leadership for S&OP Planning. This position establishes standards and practices for a model supply chain, including developing policies, procedures, and techniques that are consistent with the strategic IOPS direction and sound principles of supply chain management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage the S&OP process.

• Work with cross-functional team on planning product to ensure effective and discipline planning of materials to meet requirements as defined by program development (commercial, clinical and independent) by consistently achieving customer orders.

• Actively seek creative supply solutions to optimize S&OP across the IOPS organization;

• Drive Continuous improvements initiatives; Enhance Sales & Operation (S&OP) process development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback; Create business process flow diagrams to identify opportunities to optimize planning.

• Work closely with CMC-PM, Finance, QA, QC, Procurement and Manufacturing to create and manage S&OP process; aligned with the company's overall objectives and timelines.

• Create and publish metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness; Accurately produce regular metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis that drive positive results, get to root cause and roll up to annual IOPS goals.

• Maintain awareness of current industry standards, trends and practices.

• Add value to Planning and Supply Chain management team:

• Provide leadership and work collaboratively with other functions to prepare IOPS for the future and secure daily activities.

• Work to seek improvements to process, technique, and execution, as well as adoption of improved systems and or tools.

• Work collaboratively and effectively with various internal business units.

• Assist Director with regular operational meetings, goal setting and mid-year/year-end reporting; represent as needed or perform other activities as required by the business.

• Provide coaching to direct reports; including employees development plan; Foster a healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected.

• Represent a professional, respectful, and courteous manner when interacting with co-workers, members, and suppliers.

• Promote the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.

• Embrace and promote the IOPS culture of Teamwork, Trust, Transparency, Drive and Respect.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of supply chain management at both the development stage for clinical supplies as well as at the commercial stage is desirable.

• Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; work extended hours when required, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Oracle and ACCESS Database.

• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills.

• GMP regulated experience a plus.

• Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.

• Strong Analytical Skills and ability to communicate details clearly and effectively.

• Attention to detail, fact-based, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure.

Education and Experience:

• 6+ years' relevant experience in Supply Chain Management required, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment preferred.

• Requires bachelor's degree, preferably in in business, supply chain management or science. MS or MBA preferred.

• Previous experience in planning, drug development, performance metrics, and project management;

• APICS or other related purchasing certifications a plus.
