The Senior Accounting Technician role will be responsible for supporting and understanding the Strategic and Outside Service SG&A budgets as it relates to Global Marketing Commercial Organization's HCV and Customer Excellence (CEx) teams, including Marketing Analytics and Business Insights, Global Learning, Multi-Channel, In-Field Team and Patient Experience . This individual must have the ability to build trusted partnerships within a diverse cross functional organization. The Sr Accounting Technician will be under minimal supervision in day-to-day activities, expected to complete individual tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Responsible for monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and related accruals to support the HCV and CEx organizations
  • Manages day to day PO activities which includes generating shopping carts and ACRs in SRM/SAP insuring accuracy, completeness of documentation, and consistency with operating guidelines and CFMs
  • Maintains Actuals and Monthly Latest Best Estimate (LBE) budget trackers for both HCV and CEx's departmental spending activity by key account types and functional areas for management reporting
  • Coordinates and consolidates data from peers to support the Quarterly GMCO After the Fact PO process and related management reporting
  • Partners with Marketing Teams, Purchasing, and Cash Disbursements to ensure deadlines are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ability and willingness to take on tasks that could be considered beyond the scope of the position and a strong work ethic are critical for success in this position

  • Associates degree, preferably in accounting OR high school diploma and equivalent accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3-8 years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience
  • Basic understand of accounting principles
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software

  • Experience with SAP,TM1, and departmental budgeting preferred
  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/MBA a plus
