AveXis is advancing cutting-edge science, starting with our proprietary gene therapy for the treatment of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). We are in the midst of an incredible journey and are looking for passionate individuals to join us on this important mission.

AveXis, a Novartis company, is dedicated to developing and commercializing novel treatments for patients suffering from rare and life-threatening neurological genetic diseases. Our initial product is a proprietary gene therapy approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of pediatric patients with SMA. In addition to developing a treatment for SMA, AveXis also plans to develop other novel treatments for rare neurological diseases, including Rett syndrome and a genetic form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis caused by mutations in the superoxide dismutase 1 (SOD1) gene.

The Associate level position is responsible for timely customer service, ensuring training documentation is completed and processed appropriately, preparation of all new hire material. Maintenance of training documentation. Provide continuous administrative support for the training team. Collaborate with document control team to ensure training documents are transferred from electronic document management system (EDMS) to the Learning Management System (LMS) and assign appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the learning management system.
  • Creation and maintenance of learning management system accounts.
  • Filing and maintaining of all training documentation, and materials.
  • Provide training support to all functional groups.
  • Provide administrative support to the training team.
  • Upload content from the EDMS to the LMS.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 1-3 years of experience in Training within a regulatory or pharmaceutical environment; in lieu of the educational requirement, a minimum of 4-6 years of equivalent experience is acceptable.
  • Experience with electronic Learning Management System.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other eLearning software.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a highly detailed manner.
  • Experience with facilitation and performance of presentations.
  • Works precisely according to procedures, rules and regulations, has a passion for continuous improvement and quality.
  • Demonstrates the highest ethical standards, actively promotes trust, respect and integrity in all dealings both inside and outside the Company.


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
