The Senior Manager, Oncology Customer Insights will be accountable for the development of actionable insights across multiple stakeholder groups (HCP, patient and payor) derived from primary and secondary data. This individual will lead primary market research engagements, including methodological design, executing, analyzing, and presenting strategic insights that assess marketplace and stakeholder dynamics and needs, as well as opportunities for Regeneron to deliver valuable products and services. This role will be responsible for integrating both primary and secondary market research as well as internal performance indicators as a means for optimizing customer targeting, messaging and other investments across the commercial organization.

This individual will develop a solid knowledge of the oncology space, as well as the broader cancer marketplace, by monitoring the competitive environment, assessing performance, potential opportunities, and threats, and integrating insights across multiple sources to support sound strategic planning and execution.


• Primary market research, competitive intelligence and analytics.

• Brand research and tracking, monitoring trends, new product planning, full life cycle management.

• Insights development, reporting and presentation.

• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders in Commercial Marketing and Sales leadership, Market Access, Finance and Planning, Program Management, Medical Affairs and Business Development, in support of brand strategy and tactical plans development and execution.

• Translation of business questions into concise, focused market research objectives and studies that align with clear and specific deliverables.

• Evaluation, selection, and management of vendor partners to execute and deliver on study objectives, ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory policies.

• Continuously evaluate innovative, best-in-class methodologies and analytic techniques to drive marketing and analytics excellence and competitive advantage for the Regeneron commercial organization.

• Creation of clear plans by which to measure performance against critical success factors.

• In-depth analysis and integration of primary and secondary research findings into valued insights, presented to key internal stakeholders and senior leadership via story-telling and innovative practices.

• Coordinate all activities with the Alliance partner.

• Active monitoring and reporting of project financials and contribution to development of short- and long-term budget planning, in collaboration with commercial finance and procurement/sourcing colleagues.

• Maintain internal knowledgebase on insights, analyses and project outcomes.

• Work closely with Customer Insights leadership on special projects and initiatives to build a Customer Insights community and drive the overall I&A departmental objectives.


• Minimum of 8 years of progressive related industry experience.

• Minimum 5 years within pharmaceutical market research .

• Oncology experience strongly preferred

• Open to in-house or vendor side experience

• Strong and demonstrated knowledge of Secondary Data (US and Global) tools and ability to utilize these tools to answer business questions.

• Experience working in an alliance setting.

• US and Global market research experience.

• Strong experience conducting studies among Patients, Healthcare Providers, and Payers in a healthcare/ pharma/ biotech setting

• Biologics/ injectable agents experience a plus.

• Solid track record of successfully conducting research and/or analytics among healthcare professionals, consumers, caregivers, payers, and other stakeholder audiences in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or biotechnology setting.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills, story-telling capabilities, ability to build rapport and credibility, and consultative skills.

• Results and solutions orientation, team player, shared accountability and transparency, creative problem solving, ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization, effective negotiation, planning and prioritization skills.

• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high quality business results within tight timelines.


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing, finance, economics, market research, statistics, or the social, biological, or physical sciences required.

• Pharmaceutical/biotechnology market research experience within vendor partner and/or manufacturer settings.

• A balance of strategic, innovative thinking and executing/activating plans.
