Business Resource Coordinator
Business Resource Coordinator Position - hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Business Resource Coordinator will report to the Strategic Planning & Operations Manager and will work out of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. The Business Resource Center (BRC) is the "Face of the Floor" in Amgen's NGW (Next Generation Workplace) environment, enabling all to work and collaborate more effectively and allowing staff to focus on the most important activities. This role delivers value to all by providing business solutions and supporting the physical work space environments. This role resides in a centrally-located space within NGW spaces and the BRC team typically supports over 450 staff members from diverse corporate functions and across all organizational levels.
Deliver customer-focused fit-for-purpose services including, but not limited to:
Greet and partner with staff to provide customers with a positive experience
Provide small project services e.g. occupancy planning, work order-related projects, special events, workshop/training materials and ad-hoc projects assigned by the Site Manager
Provide back-up support for other BRC Coordinators
Monitor the BRC email inbox daily and respond accordingly
Maintain standard office supplies, team tables, pavilions, collaboration spaces and supplies for workshops; adjust supplies as needed based on client needs for floor/building
Conduct daily walks of the assigned floor to ensure tidiness of all spaces, including making rounds to observe building issues requiring maintenance and sending necessary work orders as needed
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including management of 6th floor mail center when assigned
Assist with new hire orientation and assist with I-9 verifications and re-verifications
Assist with conference room conflicts and bookings, locker access, storage cabinets and Lost and Found
Liaise with neighborhood representatives
Assist with printing, including plotter printing, and ensure all printers and plotters are in good working order
Maintain Diversion Lounge supplies (ping pong balls/paddles, foosballs, chalk)
Associate's Degree and 2 years of administrative experience
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience
