In Vivo China Sites Head

Responsibilities:

1. Assume management responsibility for the daily operation of in vivo pharmacology scientist group.
2. Directly supervise scientists in execution of external/internal projects, and responsible for scientist training programs.  Help scientists trouble shooting and client communication.
3. Help setting up standard procedures within the scope of scientific operation to continuously improve organizational efficiency.
4. As scientific leader, also participates in the compliance management, animal health and regulatory aspects of scientific operations.
5. Closely interact with the R/D leaders who are ultimately responsible for the science of the product lines.
6. As part of the research team, participates in the company’s research program.
7. Take on study director role for major accounts if needed, and be responsible for all duties involved in external studies assigned.
8. Actively involved in client interaction, including teleconferences and presentations to clients.
9. Collaborate closely with other departments and functions to support overall company tasks.
10. Actively involved in scientific writing, including abstract/poster/ppt/manuscripts preparation, etc.

Qualification:

1. Ph.D. or M.D. in cancer biology, immunology, pharmacology, medicine or related discipline.
2. >10 years of experience in cancer pharmacology studies.
3. Strong expertise in small animal models and in vivo cancer and I/O pharmacology.
4. Strong analytic ability.
5. Good at identifying problems and issues; able to creatively resolve different challenges.
6. Strong organizational ability, good interpersonal skill, and team work spirit. Management experience (large team, including Ph.D scientists) is necessary.
7. Strong service mind and customer oriented.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English.
9. Strong scientific publications/presentations in peer-reviewed journals or relevant scientific meetings.
