Summary:
Sr. Clinical Scientist, Respiratory and Inflammation, participates in the evaluation, strategic planning and execution of Respiratory and Inflammation clinical development programs. Under the supervision of the Associate Director/Director, the successful candidate will participate in the development of key study documents and perform multi-factorial analysis of scientific and clinical data to help guide product development.
Job Duties:
The candidate will also support clinical development and planning of Regeneron's pipeline drug candidates.
• Conducts detailed analyses of clinical data. Must be resourceful and have outstanding abilities to synthesize and make connections
• Helps to author the Clinical Study Protocol, amendments and related documents, Informed Consent Form, monitoring plan, and other key study documents. Trains and supports CRAs/CROs on study protocols and related questions and serves as point of contact for managing/answering questions relating to trial procedures and subjects' eligibility.
• Participates in development of other key documents and reports for clinical programs
• Contributes to decision-making and provides well-reasoned, thorough reviews, due diligence and proposals to cross-functional project teams. Engages in team discussions and provides translational sciences support for assigned projects.
• Conducts detailed literature reviews and analysis of competitive landscape from a technological, mechanistic, pharmacological and clinical development perspectives. Based on scientific understanding of technologies, diseases processes and targets of Interest, provides analyses and rationale for early clinical development opportunities.
• Contributes to the development and optimization of the REGN's indication knowledge-base to facilitate information sharing across the organization
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree. Ph.D., PharmD., or Masters degree in biomedical subject preferred
Experience
• 6-8 years of clinical research/development experience, preferred.
• Effective communications (verbal & written) and presentation skills are essential.
• Must be able to work productively in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated/potential for critical thinking skills and sound decision-making.
