Job Details

Position Summary

The Product Manager will play a key role on the Onivyde team, supporting the development, creation and execution of the tactics associated with the Brand Plan. This position will support and coordinate the development of specific tactical initiatives to ensure execution to the brand goals.

The candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be able to effectively communicate with the sales team.

The product manager will work with the internal promotional review committee, with agency partners, and with the sales team to develop and implement personal and non-personal programming in support of brand performance.

Essential Functions
  • Manage select programs that communicate the differentiating attributes of Onivyde. Metrics for success includes brand sales, and market share
  • Under the direction of the Vice President, participate in the development of marketing plans, strategies and tactics.
  • Utilize business analytics as appropriate to improve program performance
  • Work closely with Onivyde team members and external partners to understand market insights that identify/confirm key business needs.
  • Implement messaging and materials that support the brand strategy
  • Support the development and execution of highly effective sales direction and training
  • Ensure measurement marketing program efficacy metrics and ROI
  • Work closely with meeting planning and sales to develop and execute a coordinated, cross-functional plan for achieving company objectives at medical conferences.
  • Work closely with vendors to conceptualize, develop, and execute all promotional materials and programs both delivered by the sales team and non-personal programs


Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university

Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Pharmaceutical marketing; Oncology or specialty pharmaceutical market experience required.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales or other pharma experience in a buy and bill category preferred.

  • Proven ability to successfully work in a cross functional team, and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve key milestones and business objectives working with peers and colleagues with and without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills; ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization; strong presentation skills required.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (excel, word, power point, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated strong organization skills: time management and project management.
  • Ability to travel overnight, by automobile and mass transportation (less than 20%).
