Overview

AACR seeks a Project Manager for its Project GENIE (Genomics, Evidence, Neoplasia, Information, Exchange) is a multi-phase, multi-year, international data-sharing project that catalyzes precision oncology through the development of a regulatory-grade cancer registry that aggregates and links clinical-grade cancer genomic data with clinical outcomes from tens of thousands of cancer patients treated at multiple international institutions.

The Project Manager will be a Cancer scientist with experience in managing multiple or large projects and who will lead operations utilizing the Project GENIE Registry by working with a diverse team of internal and external groups across academia and industry.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for: Managing research projects using the AACR Project GENIE international cancer registry; managing/coordinating with participating sites, strategic partners, project sponsors, and other to ensure delivery of required data and producing external communications about the project.

Qualifications

.•PhD or equivalent in cancer genomics, bioinformatics, or related field.

•Minimum of 3-5 years of postdoc experience.

•Familiarity with Salesforce and project management platforms a plus. •Knowledge of data analysis and biostatistics.

•Professional Project Manager (PMP) certification a plus.

•Excellent written and oral communication skills.

•Cancer scientist background and knowledge of cancer genomics, bioinformatics.

•Experience working with large, clinicians, scientist, and bioinformaticians.

•Ability to work with diverse workflow processes.

•Experience in biopharmaceutical companies/industry.
