Manufacturing Scheduling Specialist (Production Control)

Summary: As a member of the Manufacturing Scheduling and Production Control function, the position is responsible for the scheduling of manufacturing operations on the Rensselaer site, monitoring of KPI's such as schedule adherence and resource utilization, facilitating work assignment, and ensuring that cross-functional work is being planned and completed in a timely and effective manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Scheduling activities with both manufacturing and non-manufacturing groups

• Actively seeks creative solutions for improving the efficiency of manufacturing and support operations

• Investigate and resolve issues around scheduling delays and operational inefficiencies

• Facilitates the development of effective personnel and training schedules

• Facilitates communication to and from the production floor

• Performs tasks to support production activities

• Follows current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs)

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Has potential for managing direct reports

Education and Experience:

• Requires a BS/BA in Life Sciences, Engineering, Operations Management, or related Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement.

• Title level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
