Job Details

The Sr Associate Quality Systems conducts low to medium complexity administrative project management. This position will support core business dashboards and initiatives to ensure up to date information is disseminated as well as develop executive and leadership presentations and communications. This role supports leadership through capturing lessons learned based on stakeholders to help clarify direction for the group and staff. This position contributes to workgroup by ensuring quality of tasks and provides training to others as appropriate.

This position is in Thousand Oaks and reports to the Executive Director Final Product Technology Quality (FPTQ).

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply analytical skills to evaluate complex situations using multiple sources of information
  • Develop solutions/ tools to support FPTQ leadership operations and communication
  • Manage Sharepoint site and utilize collaborative work management tools (i.e. Smartsheet and Spotfire)
  • Screen, evaluate, report and resolve record integrity issues
  • Help to provide support and work with leadership to implement structure to ensure decision making is driven through use of DAI principals
  • Meeting and/or workshop planning (i.e. leadership operating reviews, key departmental meetings)
  • Provide support for FPTQ goal setting, budgeting and tracking; and productivity metrics
  • Manage tracking of FPTQ training and onboarding


Basic Qualifications

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of quality or business administration experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of quality or business administration experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of quality or business administration experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree OR certificate in project management and/or business administration
  • Project Management experience and familiarity with basic project management tools
  • Ability to assess priorities and successfully manage workload to timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver on-time, and high-quality results
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed or team environment
  • Ability to manage (without authority) cross-functional and internal team actions to ensure strategic alignment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business concepts
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodology (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma)
  • Ability to analyze moderate to complex data and glean basic information from the data
  • Ability to assemble / craft presentations for leadership that may contain complex information
  • Technical expertise and application of project management techniques / best practices
  • Problem solving and decision making
