The Supply Chain Snr. Manager -Platforms Leader reports directly to the Director of the Digital Supply Chain team and manages a team of resources managing key integration platforms from a business standpoint across Global Supply Chain.

As the team lead for the Digital Platforms team, you will have responsibility for building and leveraging business solutions aligned with the digital supply chain strategy and ultimately the vision of Global Supply Chain. This role will be critical in leading the development and improvement of processes that deliver optimal outcomes from the use and integration of systems within the function.

The individual will be responsible for achieving the following objectives:
  • Own and maintain the strategic roadmap of platform capabilities for Global Supply Chain (i.e. Planning Execution, Capacity Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Global Trade and Performance Management)
  • Participate as a business expert and/or liaison in the development and enhancement of platform solutions to meet the growing needs of processes and ultimately the business
  • Mature and improve Digital Supply Chain processes within the team (i.e. Intake Process, Portfolio Management, Prioritization etc.)
  • Act as Business owner and representative in the Anaplan Center of Excellence, an essential business and IS partnership in driving forward strategic planning capabilities
  • Manages team of onshore/offshore Anaplan model builders executing tool "small work" enhancements to meet the needs of the Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Lead technical development and partnership with OIS on the IBP workstream of the Optimize Inventory initiative
  • Clearly defined skillsets and proficiencies for Global Supply Chain users across the solutions within the team


Specifically, the role will:
  • Integrate project delivery into the development of platform solutions by advancing the Intake and Prioritization Process
  • Develop 3-year roadmap for the maturing of capabilities across key platform capabilities for Supply Chain processes in Planning, Trade Management and performance
  • Develop approach for collecting and aligning on business requirements along solutions life-cycle
  • Work with and educate key stakeholders in the organization, including Operations, Finance and Commercial, to design the most effective process intersections with systems
  • Develop and drive change management plans to support business enrollment of new capabilities and new functionality, advance end-user adoption and support post-implementation enhancements
  • Manage the operations of the team to specific metrics designed to improve customer service internally and sustainment of the solutions used by the business externally.
  • Partner with business and technical experts to define processes, procedures and best practices for development, maintenance and enhancement of Anaplan models
  • Design a sustainment model for new capabilities in the function and business role for enterprise level capabilities that will extend beyond Global Supply Chain


Responsibilities include:
  • Communicate and collaborate with diverse key stakeholders including Operations, Finance and Commercial to identify business requirements and provide expert guidance on best approaches to translating into efficient models.
  • Oversee the design and development of effective models and processes to streamline, standardize & automate activities leveraging the platform solutions (i.e. Anaplan, SAP, Tableau etc)
  • Design and lead change management activities to ensure new processes are fully embedded in the organization.
  • Prepare and communicate regular project updates to key stakeholders including senior management.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by providing expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing fixes that meet user requirements through business and IS resources
  • Manage, govern and oversee the modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs. Adherence to best practices in Business requirements, building and rollout
  • Work with Master Data Teams, IS, Finance and Commercial to ensure the integrity of the data flows to and from internal systems
  • Collate and troubleshoot issues with processes and tools; develop broad improvement plans and facilitate training and guidance to users on the platforms
  • Develop and keep Anaplan updated with the latest developments through latest releases, user community, and various online training opportunities.


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree 2 years of Supply Chain or Technical experience ORR

Master's degree and 6 years of Supply Chain or Technical experience OR

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of Supply Chain or Technical experience OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Supply Chain or Technical experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Supply Chain or Technical experience AND

2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of related experience in International, Pharmaceutical or Supply Chain Environment
  • 1-2 years of experience with Anaplan.
  • 2+years of experience designing, modeling and deploying models with widely used planning and analytics applications such as Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Cognos TM1, Business Objects, Qlick, Tableau, Power BI, Access
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail, able to work on assigned tasks independently, able to identify and initiate discussions about opportunities for process improvement.
  • Experience with relational databases and working with large data structures
  • MBA or other supply chain, planning, IS, Analytics, or finance-related Masters degrees.
  • Good communications skills with all levels of an organization (written and oral)
  • Strong understanding of finance, sales operations and supply chain
  • Experience in working in and between business/finance operations and IT
  • Ability to translate complex information into comprehensive, concise and high-quality business requirements that resonate with stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to effectively juggle multiple ongoing projects to meet deadlines
